SDG Awareness Workshop at Pt. Ravi Shankar University

SDG ASDG Awareness Workshop at Economics Department of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur Chhattisgarh

Raipur (November 2018):  Awareness is the primary step for sustainability. The SDGvolunteers of Society for Sustainable Development created an awareness program on Sustainable Development at the #Economics Department at Pt, Ravishanka Shukla University, Raipur(C.G). This initiative was taken to make youth aware about the present condition of our #environment. It was an informative seminar that discussed about the man-made environmental issues while also instilling a sense of hopefulness for the future. Visual presentations were given by Mr. Junaid Wahab Khan, Mr. Rajesh Loiya, Ms. BabitaPandey, Ms. Kriti Shrivastava, to make students understand better. The seminar was conducted to know how many of them are aware and how much they are aware and how they can connect with nature and help us to achieve sustainability.

During the workshop students were motivated to connect with nature and achieve their financial goals keeping in mind the eco-inclusivity.

Various interactive videos was also been shared with students including #Beforetheflood, #HowForestHeal #Carbon #SDGGoals along with project and campaigns launched under #SustainableIndia mission.

It was very surprising to know the unawareness of youngsters towards sustainable practices and eco- inclusivity but students were interested in joining their hand with us to achieve such goals, specifically #SustainableDevelopmentGoal  #SDG8  i.e. #DecentWorkandEconomicGrowth.
